Clemson University seeks to sole source the purchase of a TA Instruments TAM IV thermostat equipped with two nanocalorimeters. This unit is a replacement of an existing TA Instruments TAM III thermostat and calorimeter system which was damaged during a recent power outage. A solution calorimeter in the existing system will be transferred into the new TA TAM IV thermostat system. This solution calorimeter is not compatible with any other thermostat, making the purchase of the TA TAM IV thermostat necessary to use the existing resources. This is a sole source procurement.
