Description

SD36 requests quotations for Deaf or Hard of Hearing - Language Enrichment & Cultural Awareness (LECA) to support the needs of the District and its Students. The program aims to provide ongoing enrichment, engagement, and greater awareness of Deaf culture, Deaf Indigenous culture, Indigenous principles of learning, ASL awareness, and teaching. The successful vendor will administer and document language enrichment and cultural awareness programs, including consulting, developing action plans, providing synopses, hiring and supervising coordinators and teams, and developing online resources accessible to school staff, district staff, and families. Services must comply with statutory obligations of FIPPA, and vendors assume legal privacy obligations under FIPPA.
