Description

The City of Calgary is seeking a qualified engineering consulting firm to provide multi-disciplinary engineering services for the water loss remediation project at Bowness Park Lagoon. The project includes pre-design activities such as document review, data compilation, site reconnaissance, mapping, geotechnical and hydrological assessments, as well as preliminary design including design options, landscape rehabilitation plans, and environmental and regulatory approvals. This Request for Proposal covers Phase 1 and Phase 2 only, with future phases contingent on budget approvals expected between 2027 and 2029. The goal is to investigate the lagoon's water system, propose a new boat ramp location, reduce water loss, and stabilize water levels for safe seasonal activities.
