The USDA Forest Service is seeking small business contractors to provide comprehensive decommissioning and environmental remediation services for the Gloria Ford Estate in the Boise National Forest. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service, Boise National Forest, Emmett Ranger District, CSA Intermountain 7/6 - Scope of Work: - Decommissioning and removal of all buildings and structures at the Gloria Ford Estate - Demolition, debris removal, backfilling, site grading, seeding, and final cleanup - Removal and proper disposal of hazardous materials, including asbestos, lead-based paint, heating oil tanks, and unknown substances in drums - Environmental site assessment and hazardous materials survey already conducted; contractors must comply with recommendations - Certified personnel and approved work plans required for hazardous materials abatement - Compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations is mandatory - Products/Services Requested: - Lump sum contract for all-inclusive decommissioning and site restoration services - Mobilization services associated with the project - No specific OEMs, vendors, or product part numbers are specified; focus is on service delivery and regulatory compliance - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Project is set aside for small businesses, including women-owned and economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses - All hazardous materials must be removed and disposed of prior to demolition - Special abatement methods required for asbestos-containing materials - Contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals - Work must be completed within approximately 3.5 months (120 days) from the Notice to Proceed - Location: - Gloria Ford Estate, Emmett Ranger District, Boise National Forest, Boise County, Idaho - Contracting office located in Ogden, Utah and Boise, Idaho

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1240LR26Q0013 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Boise National Forest Gloria Ford Estate Decommissioning.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference.  The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238910 Site Preparation Contractors.  The small business size standard is $19M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. 

There is no planned site visit for this solicitation. Potential bidders may visit the site at their own convenience.
