The Department of the Air Force, through the 42d Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, is seeking contractor support for the annual DAFITC Education and Training Event in Montgomery, Alabama. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), 42d Contracting Squadron - Event managed by the Information Technology and Cyberpower (DAFITC) office - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Products/Services Requested: - Event planning, organizing, marketing, and execution for a three-day annual IT and Cyberpower event - Venue coordination and management for up to 1,700 attendees - Keynote and seminar session management, including breakout sessions and live streaming - Audio-visual (AV) support for all event activities - Development and maintenance of a mobile app for event registration, guidebook, notifications, and updates - Vendor exhibition management - Production and printing of an event guidebook (agenda, speaker bios, maps, advertisements) - Program management support, including oversight, quality assurance, and reporting - Hotel room block management for military and government attendees - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide a no-cost technical approach - Event guidebook must be delivered 20 days prior to the event - Status updates required from February through August - Flexibility for virtual event execution if government travel restrictions occur - Mobile app must support registration, session selection, and real-time updates - Place of Performance and Delivery: - Maxwell Air Force Base and Gunter Annex (Montgomery, AL) - Surrounding cities: Montgomery, Prattville, Millbrook, Wetumpka - Contracting office located at Maxwell AFB, 50 Lemay Plaza S, Montgomery, AL 36112-6334

Description

The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL is seeking sources that can provide non-personal services on behalf of Air University. The Contractor shall prepare a (No-Cost) technical approach that will plan, organize, market and execute the DAFITC Event. Each year, the DAFITC Event focuses on themes that address cyberpower, IT acquisition reforms, initiatives and technical solutions. The annual event will encompass keynote speakers, seminar sessions, and an exhibition hall. Please see attached Statement of Work (SOW) for further information. All feedback and information received may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy.
