Description
The Department of the Interior, National Park Service has a requirement for services to remove hazardous trees at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, VA.1) Point of Contact: Bophany Drakeford at bophany_drakeford@ios.doi.gov. 2) Set-aside: Requirement is 100% total set-aside for Small Businesses based on NAICS code 561730. Contractors shall be actively registered in System for Award Management (SAM) under the appropriate NAICS code.3) Codes: NAICS code 561730 ¿ Landscaping Services, Business size standard is $9.5M. Product or Service Code: S208 ¿ Housekeeping ¿ Landscaping/Groundskeeping.4) Description: Work consists of performing tree services including but not limited to pruning, grinding, chipping, felling, cutting and removal of all hazardous trees predetermined and identified by the park. Place of Contract Performance. Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts located at 1551 Trap Road, Vienna, Virginia 22182. The anticipated period of performance is from date of award to 365 days after award.This acquisition will follow procedures under FAR part 12 using simplified procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quotation as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency. Offerors must meet the technical qualification requirements for hazardous tree removal.5) Proposed Solicitation date. May 11, 2026. This solicitation will not be posted on SAM in accordance with FAR 5.201(b)(2). The solicitation will be solicited directly to at least three sources.This is a pre-solicitation notice only and does not constitute a solicitation and does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Accordingly, no response is due at this time, nor will any questions of a technical or contractual nature be answered. Specific instructions on submitting responses will be contained in solicitation documents. A firm-fixed priced contract award is anticipated.
