NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic is soliciting proposals for the P171 Weapons Magazines construction project at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown and Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic, PWD Yorktown - Products and Materials Requested: - Landscaping materials: - Tiftuf Bermuda Grass Sod (47,000 sq ft + 48,000 sq ft for segregation sites) - Permanent Turf Seed Mix (542,000 sq ft + 211,000 sq ft for segregation sites) - Open Space Perennial Seed Mix (118,500 sq ft + 94,000 sq ft for segregation sites + 341,500 sq ft for demolition sites) - Hydroseed mixes for electrical duct banks (73,000 sq ft + 18,000 sq ft) - Seed components: Unhulled Bermuda Grass Seed (300 lbs/acre), Hard Fescue Seed (20 lbs/acre), White Dutch Clover Seed (10 lbs/acre), Annual Ryegrass and Cereal Rye Mix - Reforestation seedlings: Eastern Red Cedar (437), Loblolly Pine (435), Tulip Poplar (110), Black Gum (106), Sycamore (104), American Beech (85), White Oak (85) - Electrical infrastructure: - Ductbanks, pad-mounted transformers (various kVA), conduit (RGS, PVC), panelboards, surge protection, grounding, LED area luminaires, handholes, manholes, junction boxes - Signage: - Magazine identification and hazard signs, double-sided aluminum signs with reflective vinyl, concrete posts, mounting hardware - Services Requested: - Installation and maintenance of all landscaping, electrical, and signage components - Two-year guarantee and maintenance for reforestation seedlings post-inspection - Coordination with government representatives for inspections and approvals - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Emphasis on quality materials and adherence to safety and environmental standards - Some technical attachments must be requested directly from the contracting officer due to file size - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments.
