Description

This is a sources sought announcement in accordance with RFO FAR 15.101(c) ?Request for Information? and in anticipation of a future procurement. Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is conducting market research to determine industry?s capability to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) direct procurement of one (1) turnkey ALCO Model 251C engine to support USS BOXER (LHD-4). This is in direct support of the upcoming FY27 Selected Restricted Availability (SRA). See Statement of Work (Enclosure (1). SWRMC is especially interested in determining small business capability and interest. SWRMC is contemplating award of a firm fixed price contract for the requirement specified in the attached Statement of Work The applicable NAICS code is 333618 - Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing.What/Where to Submit: Interested companies should submit, on company letterhead, a letter of interest including the name, telephone number, mailing address, and e-mail address of one point of contact. The letter of interest should include a brief description of your company and its ability to provide all the OEM materials no later than the required delivery date of 15 February 2027 or best availability as set forth in Enclosure (1), and answers to the following specific questions. Please limit your response to no more than five (5) pages.
