Guilford County Purchasing Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide a fully operational, flexible, secure, and reliable inmate commissary system for the Guilford County Sheriff's Office Detention Facilities located in Greensboro and High Point, NC. The system will include inmate accounting software, computer hardware and support, and commissary services allowing inmates to purchase snack foods and personal items. The contract will be a revenue-based agreement where the County receives a percentage of commissary sales. The initial contract term is three years with options to renew for two additional one-year periods, totaling up to five years.
