NASA is seeking development and fabrication services for the xEMU Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment (LCVG) thermal control loop to support extra-vehicular activity (EVA) suit upgrades. - Government Buyer: - NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC), with procurement managed by NASA/NSSC and performance at NASA Johnson Space Center - OEMs and Vendors: - Paragon Space Development Corporation is identified as the intended sole source provider - Products and Services Requested: - Development and fabrication of xEMU LCVG thermal control loop assemblies - Subscale xEMU primary thermal loops (Qty 2) - Includes Splitter hose clamp (SDN13103905), Splitter socket (SDN13103906), Tubing paratubing (SDN13103921-002), Primary manifold tee (SDN13103903), Tubing capillary (SDN13103921-001) - Subscale xEMU auxiliary thermal loops (Qty 4) - Includes Tubing auxiliary (SDN13103921-003), Auxiliary manifold tee (SDN13103904), Tubing capillary (SDN13103921-001) - Clamshell molds (Qty 6) for thermal bonding - Heating drivers, thermocouple data loggers, and harnessing for process control - Design, fabrication, and testing services for all components, including tooling, process documentation, and proof/pull-out testing - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Custom tooling and thermal bonding process development - Delivery of detailed process documentation and test results - Support for repair and additional fabrication of LCVGs for EVA - All technical requirements and part specifications are referenced by NASA SDN part numbers - Place of Performance: - NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas - Contracting office at NASA Shared Services Center, Stennis Space Center, Mississippi - Period of Performance: - Five months from Approved to Proceed (ATP) date, with key milestones including kickoff and final delivery
