Description
Guilford County Purchasing Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide 53-foot trailers for scrap tire hauling and disposal services in accordance with all federal and state regulations at multiple locations in Greensboro and Whitsett, North Carolina. The contract term is initially three years with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods, totaling up to five years. The scope includes providing trailers, loading scrap tires, and recycling approximately 95% of the scrap tires. The County disposed of 10,285 tons of scrap tires in FY23 and projects 11,369 tons for FY25. Proposals must be submitted electronically by June 14, 2024.
