Description

Guilford County Purchasing Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide two phases of a promotional process for current Deputy Sheriffs and Detention Service Officers for the ranks of Detention Lieutenant, Detention Sergeant, Sworn Lieutenant and Sworn Sergeant of the Guilford County Sheriffs Office. The first phase will take place in 2022 and the second phase in 2024. The selected provider will develop, administer, grade, and compile test results for written and oral examinations, conduct preparation classes, supervise assessors and role players, and validate all aspects of the testing process according to legal and scientific standards. The contract will be for three years with options to renew for two additional one-year periods, totaling up to five years.
