Description

Guilford County Purchasing Department is seeking proposals from firms to replace the Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) located at 5501 Centerfield Road, Summerfield, NC. The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for the replacement of the UPS that supports the public safety trunked 800 MHz radio system. The existing UPS is at the end of its life, and the new unit must ensure reliability and continuity of operations during emergencies. The work involves removal and disposal of the old UPS, installation of the new system, upgrades to the power feed system as needed, permitting, inspections, startup coordination, and one preventative maintenance visit. Coordination with Guilford County Emergency Services and Guilford Metro 911 is required to minimize operational disruptions, and an add alternate price for after-hours installation is requested.
