Description

Guilford County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide two Full-Time Certified Peer Support Specialists with Substance Use Experience. These specialists will support a diverse justice-involved population by assisting with coping skills, re-entry support for inmates, relapse prevention plans, and discharge planning including follow-up after 3 months. The services will be provided at the Greensboro and High Point Detention Centers. The contract term is 18 months, from July 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027, funded by federal grant money with a total available funding of $163,357.
