The University of Central Missouri is soliciting proposals for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the asbestos abatement, demolition, and construction of a new suite-style residence hall to replace the existing Yeater Hall on its Warrensburg campus. The project involves demolition of the vacated Yeater Hall and construction of a new five-story building with approximately 360 student beds in two-bedroom, one-bathroom suites, including communal lounges, study spaces, laundry, administrative offices, and a staff apartment. The estimated project cost is $52,000,000. The selected CMAR will collaborate with the architectural and engineering team throughout design and construction phases and will assume risk through a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract after the design development phase. Proposals are due by May 5, 2026, and a pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for April 24, 2026.
