The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, is seeking a contractor to provide chemical and mechanical weed treatment services on federal lands around Dworshak Dam and Reservoir in Idaho. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, KO Contracting Division - Scope of Work: - Chemical and mechanical treatment of noxious and pest weeds on approximately 120 acres of Corps of Engineers-owned lands - Multiple herbicide applications required across specified areas, including Powerhouse/Dam, Helipad, Resource Areas, and Grandad Elk Mitigation Area - Contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, PPE, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services - Products/Services Requested: - General herbicide application (no specific OEMs or part numbers specified) - Chemical and mechanical weed treatment services as defined in the Performance Work Statement - Quantities include: - 3.2 acres (Powerhouse/Dam + Helipad, 1st application) - 2.3 acres (Powerhouse/Dam, 2nd application) - 70.9 acres (Resource Areas) - 43.9 acres (Grandad Elk Mitigation Area) - 120 acres (overall herbicide treatment) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must hold an Idaho State Professional Pesticide Applicator's License - Compliance with environmental, safety, and security regulations is mandatory - Deliverables include work plans, quality control plans, accident prevention plans, and application records - Specific treatment windows and timing for different areas; weather may affect scheduling with COR approval - Place of Performance: - Dworshak Project Office and COE-owned lands around Dworshak Dam and Reservoir, near Orofino and Ahsahka, Idaho, including Grandad Elk Mitigation Area - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are identified; approved herbicides must be used per state and federal guidelines
