The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), part of the Department of the Treasury, is seeking to procure new currency counting equipment for its laboratory operations: - Government Buyer: - Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Department of the Treasury, Office of Chief Procurement Officer - Products and Quantities: - Five (5) TBM-D1 Vacuum Currency Counters - Each unit must be new (no prototypes, refurbished, or one-of-a-kind systems) - Each includes a 12-month manufacturer warranty - Must meet detailed technical specifications (weight, counting speed, operational modes) - Five (5) Spare Parts Kits for Extended Display (13CM Long) - Each includes a 12-month manufacturer warranty - Services: - Shipping and delivery for four units to the Washington, DC Currency Facility - Shipping and delivery for one unit to the Western Currency Facility in Fort Worth, TX - Delivery required within 90 days of contract award - Final acceptance after 15 days of problem-free operation - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All equipment must be new and include all sub-systems and major components - Delivery, installation instructions, and operating instructions are required - One-year base manufacturer warranty required for all items - Set aside for SBA-eligible vendors - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation, but the TBM-D1 model is specified - Place of Performance/Delivery: - Washington, DC Currency Facility (301 14th and C Streets SW, Washington, DC 20228) - Western Currency Facility (9100 Blue Mound Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76131)

Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Quality Operations (OQO) seeks to add to its existing capabilities with five (5) new Currency Counters that meets or exceeds the specified requirements. The counters will be used for inventory purposes.

The Contractor shall provide the BEP, OQO with Currency Counters that are new and shall include at a minimum all sub-systems and major components listed in the technical requirements. Under this requirement, the contractor shall provide delivery, installation instructions and operating instructions. No prototypes, refurbished, one-of-a-kind, or two-of-a-kind systems will be considered.
