The Kootenay Rockies Tourism Association (KRTA), in partnership with Destination BC, is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting teams to conduct a Regional Transportation Study and Targeted Experience Assessment. The project aims to develop a coordinated, sustainable regional transportation framework for the Kootenay Rockies region and assess tourism experiences to identify opportunities where transportation connectivity can enhance visitor access. The study includes reviewing existing transportation services, forecasting demand, and creating an implementation strategy, alongside compiling an inventory of guided tourism experiences and identifying gaps and opportunities for development.
