Description

The Bureau of Indian Education at the U.S. Department of the Interior is soliciting applications for the Fiscal Year 2026 State Tribal Education Partnerships (STEP) program. The program supports tribal self-determination in education, improves academic achievement of Indian children and youth, and promotes coordination between Tribal Educational Agencies, State Educational Agencies, and Local Educational Agencies.
