Description
The United States Department of Agriculture intends to establish 84 Secure Rural Schools Resource Advisory Committees (RACs) to advise the Secretary of Agriculture on proposed recommendations and other matters related to rural schools. These committees will be governed by the Federal Advisory Committee Act and have a duration of two years unless renewed. The notice solicits nominations for membership on these committees, which will be balanced to represent various interest areas including labor, recreation, environmental organizations, elected officials, and others. Nominations must be submitted by May 25, 2026.
