The State of Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking professional design services for road repairs and tunnel infill at the Iowa Correctional Institute for Women (ICIW) main campus located at 420 Mill St. SW, Mitchellville, IA. The project includes repair and replacement of damaged road and sidewalk over an abandoned tunnel in multiple locations, as well as infilling the tunnel to prevent future cave-ins or security risks. The design services will cover all necessary disciplines, field examinations, coordination with state agencies, and construction administration. The contract will be a modified ConsensusDoc 803 and includes quality control, compliance with codes, and use of state construction management software.
