Sacramento County is seeking a qualified laboratory to provide comprehensive groundwater and stormwater testing services for three landfill sites and associated facilities. - Government Buyer: - County of Sacramento, Department of Waste Management and Recycling (DWMR) - Products/Services Requested: - Laboratory testing services for groundwater and stormwater samples - Analyses include volatile organic compounds (VOCs), semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), pesticides, herbicides, metals, nutrients, and PFAS - Single and multi-analyte tests required - Sample containers and blank water must be provided by the laboratory - Courier services for sample pickup from multiple county locations - Electronic data deliverables in GeoTracker and Excel formats - Turnaround time for results must be 10 working days or less - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Laboratory must be accredited by the California State Water Resources Control Board Division of Drinking Water or equivalent - Ability to handle high testing volumes and maintain a high percentage of in-house analysis - PFAS analysis capability is required - Pricing must include all labor, materials, and courier services - Multi-year contract (minimum 3 years) with ongoing, periodic testing and reporting - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; this is an open solicitation for qualified laboratories

Description

The County of Sacramento, Department of Waste Management and Recycling (DWMR) is soliciting proposals for laboratory testing services, primarily for groundwater quality testing. The laboratory must be accredited by the California State Water Resources Control Board Division of Drinking Water or equivalent. The scope includes analyses of groundwater samples from multiple landfill sites and stormwater monitoring programs. Proposals must be submitted electronically via OpenGov by May 26, 2026.
