Description
This solicitation is for the complete replacement of the existing timber bridge structure on Mill Road with a new timber bridge structure. The scope includes excavation, slope protection, environmental controls, stream containment, demolition and removal of the existing structure, disposal of contaminated material, installation of steel piles, concrete formwork, reinforcement steel placement, cast-in-place concrete, timber superstructure installation, steel traffic barrier installation, rip rap, road work with asphalt paving, and all other necessary ancillary work to complete the structure to the satisfaction of the Owner. The contract duration is 2 months, and the procurement method is competitive open bidding under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
