The City of Tacoma's Neighborhood & Community Services (NCS) Department plans to release an application for funding for 2027-2028 contracts on May 6, 2026, with applications closing on June 9, 2026. This competitive funding process will accept applications for programs aligned with City Council Goals and specific service areas such as youth violence resilience, community violence response, domestic violence prevention, equitable food access, behavioral health services, housing, sheltering, and inclement weather response.
