Description
This project provides for the improvement of 122nd Avenue East by widening the existing two-lane roadway to accommodate two southbound through lanes, a two-way left turn lane, and one northbound through lane. Additional improvements include four-foot paved shoulders, cement concrete curb and gutter, 6-foot wide cement concrete sidewalks, an enclosed storm drainage system, water quality stormwater facilities, and illumination. The project also involves replacing the existing traffic signal system at the 122nd Avenue East / 144th Street East intersection and updating the signal at the 122nd Avenue East / 136th Street East intersection, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and Standard Specifications.
