SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase Roche Diagnostics Corporation Molecular Analyzers, Reagents and Related Products from a contract awarded by Premier pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi). This allows purchases from a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors offering equivalent products may contact the primary contact to discuss the procurement and must demonstrate equivalency by meeting clinical performance standards. The procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k (Lobbying Law), and vendors must comply with contact restrictions and submit valid NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms if awarded.
