The U.S. Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide vehicle maintenance uniform lease and laundering services for the 6th Logistics Readiness Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Air Mobility Command, 6th Contracting Squadron (FA4814 6 CONS PK) - 6th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) - Products/Services Requested: - Lease and laundering of three-piece, dark blue work uniforms (short-sleeve shirt, matching pant, matching jacket) for approximately 25 vehicle maintenance technicians - Each technician receives 7 sets (one jacket per individual), totaling 175 sets - Uniforms must be made of a durable, breathable fabric blend comparable in quality to Carhartt and Dickies brands - Supply of at least 50 red shop rags per month - Full-service program includes issuing, inspecting, repairing, cleaning, replacing uniforms, inventory management, and flexible pickup/delivery - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Uniforms must match the quality of leading OEMs Carhartt and Dickies, but no specific OEM is mandated - Contractor must provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, uniforms, and labor - Compliance with security and environmental regulations is required - Flexible pickup and delivery schedules to accommodate government needs - Place of Performance: - MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida - Contract Structure: - Base period of 12 months with two 12-month option periods and a final 6-month option period - Small business set-aside under NAICS 812331

Description

The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, uniforms and labor necessary to provide Vehicle Maintenance (VM) uniform lease and laundering services for the 6th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations and this performance work statement (SON).

Vehicle Management Technician Coverall Uniforms (Avg. 25 Technicians) -Quantity: 7 sets per technician. Each set shall consist of one (1) top, one (1) bottom. Only one (1) jacket per individual. Also, at least (50) red shop rags per month will be needed.-Description: Three-piece, dark blue work uniform, comprising of one (1) short-sleeve shirt, (1) matching pant, and (1) matching jacket. The material shall be a durable breathable fabric blend comparable in quality to Carhartt and Dickies brands.
