The U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command at Cannon Air Force Base is seeking contractor services for troubleshooting and testing of communications BUS wiring and exhaust systems in Building 4607. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron (27 SOCONS) - Scope of Work: - Test and troubleshoot communications BUS wiring to all controllers and terminal equipment - Perform minor repairs to communication BUS wiring (e.g., re-terminating controllers and devices) - Excludes major repairs such as high bay/ceiling wire replacement or long wire runs - Test network and field controllers, I/O control and monitoring points, and equipment responses - Collaborate with a remote software engineer to verify points and equipment in graphic utility interface systems - Verify operation of paint booth air handler units, exhaust fans, breathing air systems, chilled water systems, heating water systems, machine shop air handler and terminal units, office air handler and variable air volumes, pumps, valves, and actuators - Compile deficiency reports for review by 27 SOCES - Requirements: - Contractor must provide all labor, tools, materials, and transportation - Must comply with federal, state, and local regulations - Work to be performed during standard base hours (Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, excluding federal holidays) - Vehicle and security protocols for Cannon AFB apply - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are mentioned in the opportunity - Notable Details: - This is a sources sought/market research notice, not a solicitation for a contract - Interested vendors should respond with their capabilities

Description

This is a sources sought for a service to test and troubleshoot communications BUS to all controllers and terminal equipment. Communication BUS wiring minor repairs such as re-terminating controllers and devices is included. Major repairs such as high bay/ceiling (over 10' in height) wire replacement & device terminations or long runs (over 25') are not included. Test network and field controllers I/O control and monitoring points and equipment responses. Work with remote software engineer to verify points and equipment in graphic utility interface systems included  - paint booth air handler unit's, exhaust fan's, breathing air system, chilled water system, heating water system, machine shop air handler and terminal units, and office air handler and variable air volume's. All pumps, valves and actuators. Remote software engineer to operate and monitor automation system to verify sequence of operation with on-site technician.  Please see the attached PWS for more details.
