The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to provide hazardous waste transport and disposal services at Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region, with contracting managed by the MWR - MWRO MABO office in Omaha, Nebraska - Park Representative: Bryan Struble; Contracting Officer: Nicholas Murray - Products/Services Requested: - Comprehensive hazardous waste management, including characterization, sampling, packaging, transport, and disposal of petroleum and hazardous waste - Specific waste items include solvents (Toluene, MEK, Naptha, Ethyl Alcohol Denatured), acids (Acetic Acid, Muratic Acid), fuels, contaminated materials, paint strippers, primers, and other chemicals - Environmental remediation service (NSN: 7540-01-152-8067) - All labor, equipment, and reporting required for regulatory compliance - Quantities and Notable Line Items: - Over 20 distinct waste types, including multiple containers and drums (e.g., 3 drums of mixed fuel waste, 4 bags of oil-soaked rags, 5 containers of Toluene solvent) - Lump sum contract covering all tasks and reporting - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Completion required within 90 days of award - Compliance with all federal, state, and local hazardous waste regulations - Preparation of manifests, reports, and coordination to minimize park activity disruption - Set aside for SBA concerns - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; services are open to qualified hazardous waste management firms - Place of performance and delivery: Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado

This is a request for quote (RFQ) for Hazardous Waste Transport & Disposal at Mesa Verde National Park(MEVE). This RFQ is for a Firm-Fixed Priced contract using NAICS code 562112 Hazardous Waste Collection with a size standard of $47.0 Million.Your firm is requested to supply and install the required items as set forth in the attached Scope of Work (SOW), provided agreement can be reached as to the price and other terms of the contract.You are requested to submit a quote to the Department of Interior (Attn: Nicholas Murray, Contracting Officer, nicholas_murray@ios.doi.gov).This request does not constitute a notice to proceed with performance of the services, nor shall it be considered as a commitment on the part of the Government.
