The solicitation is for the construction of buildings and associated site work for a new Parks Maintenance Complex located at the corner of Melton Road and River Road in Wilmington, NC. The project includes a 15,778 square foot Administrative Building, a 7,681 square foot Vehicle Shed, a 1,535 square foot Potting Shed, a 960 square foot Cold Frame, and coordination of the construction of a 2,860 square foot Greenhouse. The City of Wilmington requires bidders to be properly licensed and to make good faith efforts to subcontract 14% of the contract value to minority, socially, and/or economically disadvantaged businesses.
