This opportunity from the USDA Forest Service, Intermountain Region, seeks a contractor for comprehensive snow removal services at two federal facilities in Utah. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service, Intermountain Region - Offices: Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest (UWC NF) Supervisors Office and Salt Lake City Ranger District - Scope of Work: - Snow removal for parking lots and walkways at: - UWC NF Supervisors Office (857 W South Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan, UT 84095) - Salt Lake City Ranger District (6914 South 3000 East and 6944 South 300 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84121) - Approximate areas: - Supervisors Office: 30,000 sq ft parking, 2,000 sq ft sidewalks - Ranger District: 24,000 sq ft parking, 1,800 sq ft sidewalks - Services include: - Snow removal for accumulations over 3 inches - Application of ice melt, salt, sand, or mix - Response within 2 hours of snowfall or notification - Provision of all equipment, supplies, labor, transportation, and supervision - Compliance with OSHA safety regulations - Adherence to a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) with regular inspections and performance monitoring - Contract Structure: - Firm-fixed-price contract - One-year base period with four one-year option periods, plus a possible six-month extension (up to 5.5 years total) - Total small business set-aside - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must respond within 2 hours of snowfall or notification - All work must meet federal anti-discrimination and DEI requirements - Contractor performance will be monitored through a QASP - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are specified; contractor must provide all necessary equipment and materials - Evaluation Criteria: - Technical approach, past performance, and price fairness

Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), Intermountain Region, has a need for snow removal at two locations UWC NF Supervisors Office and Salt Lake City Ranger District (South Jordan, UT and Salt Lake City, UT).  The Contractor shall furnish equipment, supplies, labor, transportation and supervision necessary to perform the required services. Both locations are currently occupied by Forest Service Employees and designated as Forest Service property.   The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), Intermountain Region, has a need for snow removal at two locations UWC NF Supervisors Office and Salt Lake City Ranger District (South Jordan, UT and Salt Lake City, UT).  The Contractor shall furnish equipment, supplies, labor, transportation and supervision necessary to perform the required services.
