The Winnipeg School Division is seeking a contractor for a comprehensive roof replacement project at Mulvey School in Winnipeg, Manitoba. - Government Buyer: - Winnipeg School Division (No. 1) - Project Scope: - Removal and replacement of approximately 9,500 square feet of roofing at Mulvey School - Installation of new roof drains (Zurn model Z105-N3-ZA-VP), parapet extensions, mechanical and electrical adjustments, new ladders (Bilco Ladder UP Model LU-1), roof hatch, and fall arrest system - Roofing system must meet specified wind uplift loads and energy efficiency standards (minimum R-30 or as specified) - Use of specific roofing system components: DensDeck Prime or Securock roof board deck sheathing, SBS air/vapour barrier membranes, polyisocyanurate insulation, tapered insulation, modified bitumen 2-ply field membrane roofing, self-adhered cap sheets, torch-on traffic cap walkway sheets, sheet metal flashings - Requirements: - Contractors must be members of recognized roofing associations - Provide a 5-year contractor warranty and a 15-year manufacturer warranty - Five annual roof inspections and reports required under RCAM 5-Year Standard Form Warranty - Mandatory site walkthrough at Mulvey School - Bid bond equal to 10% of bid price and compliance with insurance requirements - Subject to Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA) - OEMs and Vendors: - Zurn (roof drains) - Bilco (roof ladder) - DensDeck (roof board deck sheathing) - Securock (roof board deck sheathing) - Notable Details: - Roofing system must be designed by a Professional Structural Engineer - Contractor must provide fire watch and ensure fire safety at all times - Project must be completed in time for school opening

This solicitation is for the roof replacement at Mulvey School located at 750 Wolseley Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The project includes partial removal and replacement of the existing roofing system, as well as mechanical and electrical work.
