NOAA is seeking biennial replacement of hydraulic hoses for the 55-foot research vessel R/V Chesapeake. - Government Buyer: - Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) - NOS Cooperative Oxford Laboratory, Eastern Acquisition Division - OEMs and Vendors: - Aeroquip (Eaton) - Parker Hannifin - Products/Services Requested: - Replacement of approximately 68 hoses (fuel, lubrication, oil distribution, cooling, hydraulic, drivetrain) - Hoses identified by orange and red tags (numbers 35-68 and 103-136) - Aeroquip FC300 series braided or Parker equivalent - Fuel hoses: Aeroquip FC234 series or Parker equivalent - Installation of stainless steel clamps, permanent tags, chaffing material - Leak testing and updating inventory records - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Replacement hoses must meet or exceed OEM and military specifications - High-quality workmanship required; proper tagging and leak testing - Work to be performed onboard or within 70 nautical miles of Cambridge, MD - Compliance with OSHA, ABYC, and NOAA Small Boat Program standards - Coordination with vessel captain and Vessel Operations Coordinator (VOC) for scheduling - All tasks, installation, testing, and invoicing must be completed within 21 calendar days of contract award or earliest possible start date - Place of Performance: - R/V Chesapeake, Cambridge, MD - NOAA Cooperative Oxford Laboratory, Oxford, MD - Within 70 nautical miles of Cambridge, MD
