Description
The City Manager's Office of Redwood City is seeking proposals from qualified agencies to conduct a fee study to set and/or update several individual fees reflecting new regulations or processes within the city. The study will cover fees such as permits for motorized and non-motorized vendors, solicitor and peddler permits, appeal fees for administrative hearings, police investigation fees for massage therapy businesses, relocation consultant fees, short term rental registration fees, address change/add fees, plumbing permits for water heater replacements, and transition of smaller planning deposit based fees to flat fees. The consultant will assess necessary fees, perform cost analysis, and provide documentation of direct and indirect costs associated with issuing permits and processing registrations. The goal is to bring revised fees to the City Council for approval by August 24, 2026.
