Birmingham City Schools is seeking proposals for a comprehensive range of Special Education Related Services to support its district-wide needs: - Government Buyer: - Birmingham Board of Education, Birmingham City Schools, Purchasing Department - Services Requested: - Speech Language Pathologists (ASHA Certified, ABESPA Licensed or CFY-SLP with ABESPA License) - Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants (Alabama State Licensure required) - Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapist Assistants (Alabama State Licensure required) - Certified Visual and Hearing Impairment Teachers (Alabama certification required) - Certified Sign Language Interpreters (State of Alabama Licensure Board for Interpreters and Transliterators) - Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), School Psychologists, Special Education Teachers, Registered Behavioral Therapists/Technicians, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Special Ed. Paraprofessionals (as needed) - Scope of Services: - Evaluation, consultation, staff development, program improvement, and direct services (therapy, counseling, support) as recommended by Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) - Services to be provided across all 43 schools, administration offices, and student homes within the district - Notable Requirements: - All professionals must hold appropriate Alabama state licensure or certification - Proposals evaluated on quality, suitability, warranty, and maintenance, not solely on price - Contract term is two years with two one-year renewal options (up to four years total) - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are involved; this is a services procurement - Estimated contract value is not specified, but the scope covers a large urban school district with over 20,000 students

This solicitation is issued by Birmingham City Schools for the provision of Special Education Related Services.
