Description
The County of Marin is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to complete a Development Impact Fee (DIF) Nexus Study, recommend updates to the County’s DIF program, and prepare a Residential Feasibility Analysis in compliance with the Mitigation Fee Act and Assembly Bill 602. Consultants will identify infrastructure and facilities such as roads, parks, trails, community facilities, public safety facilities, and drainage facilities to be included in an updated fee program. The goal is to ensure the DIF program aligns fees with the infrastructure and facilities costs generated by new development. The County will also consider other DIFs commonly developed for clients or imposed by nearby cities and comparable counties.
