Franklin County, Virginia is soliciting sealed proposals for a General Reassessment of all real estate situated in Franklin County in accordance with Virginia state code. The project involves appraising properties to determine fair market value, including physical visits to each property, preparation of appraisal manuals, public hearings, and assistance with appeals. The reassessment work is scheduled to begin on or about June 1, 2026, and be completed by December 31, 2027. The county reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive informalities and will negotiate with selected firms based on qualifications and proposed services.
