The City of Pittsburg Public Works Department (Engineering Division) is seeking qualified firms to provide on-call professional consulting services for a variety of technical disciplines to support capital improvement projects and operational needs. - Government Buyer: - City of Pittsburg Public Works Department, Engineering Division - Services Requested (no specific OEMs or vendors required): - Civil Engineering: street/roadway/utility design, grading, drainage, transportation design, pavement rehabilitation, ADA compliance, PS&E preparation, hydraulic modeling, master planning, peer review, construction support, Caltrans coordination, and funding application assistance - Surveying: topographic, boundary, right-of-way surveys, legal descriptions, construction staking, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, GPS surveys, and acting as City Surveyor - Traffic Engineering: traffic impact studies, demand modeling, operation analysis, signal timing, safety analyses, traffic counts, technical reports - Dry Utility & Electrical Engineering: joint trench design, relocation, undergrounding, construction documents, electrical design, photometric analysis, power distribution, backup power, solar panel and EV infrastructure design, construction support - Construction Material Testing, Biological, Hydrologist, Environmental, Hazardous Material Testing, Geotechnical: soil/asphalt/concrete testing, environmental compliance, habitat assessments, water resource management, air/water quality reports, hazardous material surveys, geotechnical reports, construction monitoring - Landscape Architecture: conceptual design, site analysis, green infrastructure, public art coordination, streetscape, park/trail design, ADA compliance, irrigation, construction documents - Architectural: planning, design, construction, feasibility studies, code research, renovations, tenant improvements, space planning, Title 24 compliance, construction documents, administration - Notable Requirements: - Demonstrated experience with public agencies and relevant technical disciplines - Appropriate professional licensing in California - Ability to execute the City's standard consulting services agreement without exceptions - Firms may submit for one or multiple service categories - Contracts are on-call, task-order based, with a $500,000 cap per contract and $250,000 per task order (unless amended) - Place of Performance: - City of Pittsburg Public Works Department, Engineering Division, 65 Civic Avenue, Pittsburg, CA 94565

Description

The City of Pittsburg Public Works Department is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for on-call professional services across multiple technical disciplines including civil engineering, surveying, traffic engineering, dry utility and electrical engineering, construction material testing, biological, hydrologist, environmental, hazardous material testing, geotechnical, landscape architecture, and architectural services. The purpose is to establish a list of pre-qualified consultants to support capital improvement projects, development review, and operational needs on an as-needed basis. Contracts will be issued on an on-call, task-order basis with a fee limit of $500,000 per agreement and $250,000 per task order. The initial contract term is two years with options for two one-year extensions.
