Description
Franklin County, Virginia is soliciting sealed proposals for a General Reassessment of all real estate situated in Franklin County, excluding public service properties, in accordance with Virginia Code Sections 58.1-3252 through 58.1-3300. The project involves appraising properties at 100% fair market value, including physical visits to each property, development of a local manual, public hearings, and assistance with appeals. The reassessment work is scheduled to begin on or about June 1, 2026, and be completed by December 31, 2027. The County will evaluate proposals based on experience, professionalism, cost, and ability to meet the project schedule.
