Description
The Street Outreach Program (SOP) provides street-based services to runaway, homeless, and street youth who have been subjected to, or are at risk of being subjected to, sexual abuse, prostitution, sexual exploitation, and severe forms of human trafficking. The program targets areas where street youth congregate and aims to assist them in making healthy choices by providing access to shelter or stable housing, basic needs such as food and hygiene packages, and information on available services. The program is funded through grants and expects to award approximately 20 grants ranging from $100,000 to $200,000 each.
