Description
The Rural Capacity Building program aims to enhance the capacity of rural housing development organizations, Community Development Corporations, Community Housing Development Organizations, rural local governments, and Indian tribes to carry out affordable housing and community development activities benefiting low- and moderate-income families in rural areas. The program funds National Organizations with expertise in rural housing and community development to build the capacity of eligible beneficiaries. Eligible activities include training, education, support, financial assistance, and other activities determined in consultation with the Secretary. Only National Organizations that are 501(c)(3) nonprofits with relevant experience in rural areas are eligible to apply.
