This notice informs the public that the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad Incorporated (DGVR) has petitioned the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) for an extension of relief from certain regulations concerning stenciling and safety glazing of rail cars. The petition requests to extend a special approval for 9 cabooses and 1 camp car that are more than 50 years old, and to add an additional caboose to the relief. DGVR also seeks extended relief from stenciling requirements and expansion of the equipment's operating territory to 28.5 miles in the Cass Hill Subdivision.
