Region 18 ESC is seeking proposals from qualified licensing agencies, publishers, or authorized rights holders for the use of an existing play script for educational and performance purposes. The play script must support the teaching of civics in alignment with Senate Bill 3, 87th Texas Legislature, 2nd Called Session (2021). The proposal must clearly state the terms under which Region 18 ESC may perform, reproduce, edit, shorten, adapt, or otherwise modify the script. Preference may be given to scripts for which the rights holder is willing to grant written permission for reasonable edits, adaptations, or content modifications to meet educational, audience, time, or program needs. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the Region 18 eBid website by 12:00pm CDT, Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Faxed or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
