RFI for Development and Delivery of Comprehensive Billing Code Sets for Cardiology Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its Strategic Acquisition Center Fredericksburg, is seeking information from qualified sources for the development, maintenance, and regular delivery of comprehensive billing code sets, with a focus on cardiology community care services. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs - Strategic Acquisition Center Fredericksburg - Products/Services Requested: - Development, maintenance, and delivery of comprehensive billing code sets - Cardiology community care referral services, including: - Up to 5 cardiac-related diagnostic imaging tests (VA CodeSet 00002) - Up to 15 cardiac-related diagnostic labs (VA CodeSet 00003) - Up to 10 cardiac-related diagnostic studies (e.g., stress tests, echocardiograms) (VA CodeSet 00004) - Up to 6 device interrogations/programming (e.g., pacemakers, AICD, ventricular assist devices) (VA CodeSet 00005) - Outpatient evaluation and management (E/M) services for cardiac conditions - In-clinic administration of FDA-approved medications by community providers - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the opportunity - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Regular delivery and ongoing maintenance of code sets - Cardiology code sets must support a range of diagnostic and therapeutic services - In-clinic medications must be FDA-approved; those not on the prior authorization list require additional VA approval - All responses will be treated as confidential business materials - No specific part numbers or purchase quantities for code set services are provided, but example code set part numbers are listed for cardiology services.

Description

Purpose

In accordance with the FAR 15.201(e) this is a Request for Information (RFI) to determine the availability and technical capabilities of qualified sources capable of developing, maintaining, and regularly delivering comprehensive billing code sets.

VA is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. All responses shall be solely in the form of information.

Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government is under no obligation to issue a solicitation or to award any contract on the basis of this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be the sole responsibility of the respondent.

All submissions will be treated as business confidential materials, become Government property, and will not be returned.
