The Town of Middleton, Nova Scotia, is seeking suppliers for the delivery of various sand and gravel materials for municipal use. - Government buyer: Town of Middleton, managed by the Director of Public Works - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products requested: - Pit Run Gravel: approximately 500 cubic yards - Rip Rap or Surge: approximately 26 cubic yards - 1” - 2” Clear Stone: approximately 100 cubic yards - Screened Sand: approximately 100 cubic yards - Quarry manufactured Type 1 Gravel ¾” or 1” minus: approximately 800 cubic yards - Quarry manufactured Type 2 Gravel 2” or 3” minus: approximately 400 cubic yards - All materials must be delivered within the Town of Middleton boundaries within one week of request - Tender prices must include delivery - Bidders may submit prices for individual items; the Town may split awards among multiple suppliers - Local suppliers within the immediate area receive a 5% margin advantage, up to a maximum of $250

This solicitation is a Request for Quotation for the supply and delivery of various types of sand and gravel materials including Pit Run Gravel, Rip Rap or Surge, 1" - 2" Clear Stone, Screened Sand, and Quarry manufactured Type 1 and Type 2 Gravel. The materials are to be delivered within the Town of Middleton boundaries within one week of request. Tender prices should include delivery, and bidders may submit prices for individual items. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, accept multiple bids, and allows a 5% margin in favor of local suppliers up to $250.
