Repair and Upgrade of Weinstein Track and Field at Fort Huachuca, AZ

The U.S. Army at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, is seeking qualified contractors to repair and upgrade the Weinstein Track and Field facility. - Scope of Work: - Replacement of the artificial turf field with a UV-stable system (8-year warranty), including silica sand and crumb rubber infill, drainage, and integrated striping for 36 ACFT lanes - Resurfacing of the running track with a full-pour polyurethane surface (5-year warranty), proper drainage, and white lane striping - Modification of site lighting, including demolition of 12 existing light poles, installation of new LED floodlights and poles (minimum 20 footcandles, 4500K color temperature), new electrical control panel, and photometric design - Repair and improvement of end zone equipment areas, including grading, leveling, asphalt base, and rubberized surface - Installation of four outdoor, freeze-resistant, bi-level water fountains with hose connections, PVC waterlines, isolation valves, pressure regulators, and sewer lines - Project Management and Deliverables: - Monthly project status meetings and reports - Training on maintenance of installed materials and equipment (recorded and provided in digital/DVD formats) - Operation & Maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, and required warranties - Requirements: - Compliance with safety and environmental standards - Past performance on similar projects - Submission of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) - Performance and payment bonds within 10 days of award - Period of Performance: - 180 calendar days from notice to proceed - **No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; contractors may propose suitable systems meeting the technical specifications.
