The Department of Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System is seeking information from qualified vendors to provide emergency residential services for homeless Veterans in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties, California. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Palo Alto Health Care System - Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) - Services Requested: - Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Contract Emergency Residential Services (CERS) - Provision of 8 beds per day for homeless Veterans, totaling approximately 2,920 to 2,928 bed-days per year - Services include 24/7 room and board with furnishings, dietetic services, laundry, case management, medication management, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, transportation, outreach, and discharge planning - Focus on geriatric homeless Veterans (aged 50+), with a low-barrier, home-like environment and at least 85% bed occupancy - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Services must be provided in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties - Emphasis on a home-like, supportive environment for older Veterans - Firm fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract structure - Annual periods with a five-year total contract duration (base year plus four option years) - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the notice - The opportunity is currently in the market research (sources sought) phase; no solicitation has been issued

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is performing market research to determine if there are any vendors, regardless of business size, that can provide Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Contract Emergency Residential Services (CERS) for the Veteran Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties, as described below. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached.
