The U.S. Air Force at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) is seeking Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) to provide comprehensive exhaust hood and duct cleaning services across multiple military installations in Texas. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, 502d Contracting Squadron (502 CONS CL), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) - Scope of Work: - Exhaust hood and duct cleaning for Type I grease exhaust systems at JBSA facilities, including Fort Sam Houston, Lackland Air Force Base, Randolph Air Force Base, Camp Bullis, and Chapman Training Annex - Services cover dining facilities, clubs, fire stations, youth centers, and other government buildings - Cleaning frequencies range from bi-weekly to annual, as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) - Emergency cleaning services available on an as-needed, hourly basis - Contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and off-site grease waste disposal - Excludes Type II condensate/dish hoods and steam hoods - Key Requirements: - 100% SDVOSB set-aside - Compliance with NFPA Fire Code #96 and environmental/safety standards - Key personnel must hold IKECA Certified Exhaust Cleaning Specialist or Phil Ackland certifications - Digital reporting and documentation per PWS - Firm-fixed-price contract structure - Period of Performance: - Initial 7-month period, followed by four 1-year ordering periods, with an option to extend up to 6 additional months - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named; the procurement is for services, not equipment purchase - Notable Details: - Work must be performed after evening meals and before early morning meals to minimize disruption - Contractor responsible for travel between multiple JBSA sites - Wage determination compliance required
