USCG Seeks Operations and Maintenance Support Services for USCGC STORIS

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is conducting market research for contractor services to support the operations and maintenance of the USCGC STORIS cutter. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), SFLC Procurement Branch 2 - Services Requested: - Provision of 10 certified mariners with current STCW endorsements in officer and engineering roles - 24/7 technical support for key shipboard systems, including: - Medium Voltage Switchgear and Generator Control Units - Machinery Plant Control and Monitoring System (MPCMS) - Thrusters and Dynamic Positioning System - Towing Winch - Reduction Gear and Propulsion Shaft systems - Integrated Bridge Systems - Optional advanced engineering analysis, studies, inspections, surveys, on-site casualty response, upgrades, and documentation updates - Comprehensive program management with a dedicated Program Manager and authorized alternates - Associated travel for contract support, reimbursed per federal regulations - Locations: - Onboard USCGC STORIS - Shore facilities in Seattle, WA; Alameda, CA; and Baltimore, MD - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Mariners must have current STCW endorsements - Continuous (24/7) technical support for complex ship systems - Optional on-site engineering and casualty response capabilities - Program management as a single point of contact - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the notice - No products or part numbers are specified; the focus is on specialized service support

Description

The USCG intend to procure services to support the operations and maintenance of USCGC STORIS. The Contractor’s services will complement and supplement organic Coast Guard personnel onboard the cutter, on shore in Seattle, WA; Alameda, CA; Baltimore, MD.
