The Department of Veterans Affairs Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a fully integrated, turnkey trayline system for high-volume patient meal assembly at its facility in Cleveland, Ohio. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Cleveland Medical Center, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) fully integrated trayline system (part number: TRAYLINE) - Includes hot food server, refrigerated tray table, gravity shelf system with bin storage, mobile tray dispenser, and mobile heated plate dispenser - Equipment must be new, hospital-grade, stainless steel or corrosion-resistant, and meet infection control standards - Must be compatible with existing utilities and space constraints; no construction or major utility modifications required - Installation and removal services - Removal and disposal of existing trayline equipment - Delivery, uncrating, placement, installation, configuration, testing, and startup of new system - Coordination with VA Engineering for scheduling and utility hookups - Provision of dumpster for debris disposal and on-site staff training - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; solicitation allows for brand name or equal solutions - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must be delivered, installed, and operational within 90 days of award - OEM warranty and service required - Must meet hospital infection control and operational standards - Emphasis on compatibility with existing infrastructure and minimal disruption to facility operations
Description
The Government’s intent is to procure a trayline system that is compatible with existing facility infrastructure and does not require construction or major utility modifications. The requested equipment, including brand name or equal solutions, is expected to operate within the current electrical, plumbing, and ventilation capacities of the facility.
A site visit will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 2 PM EST. All contractors will meet the VA staff at The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1620 East 105th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44106, in the lobby. Please use the parking garage on the east side of the street, across from the meeting place.
